About Avartan

Avartan is a circular fashion initiative that transforms recovered materials, recycled fibres, production remnants, reclaimed textiles, and responsibly sourced natural materials into contemporary clothing and products.

Through design, craftsmanship, material innovation, and circular thinking, we seek to extend the life of existing resources.

Eligibility

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or are accessing the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Products & Availability

We strive to display our products as accurately as possible.

However:

  • Actual colours may vary depending on screen settings and devices.

  • Many Avartan products are made using recovered materials, recycled fibres, reclaimed textiles, and handcrafted processes.

  • Minor variations in colour, texture, weave, embroidery, print placement, and finish are natural characteristics of the materials and techniques used.

  • Many products are produced in limited quantities.

  • Exact reproductions or restocks may not be possible due to limited material availability.

  • Product availability is subject to stock levels.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit the availability of any product without prior notice.

Pricing

  • All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Shipping within India is included unless stated otherwise.

  • International shipping charges may apply separately.

Orders

Upon placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation.

We reserve the right to:

  • Cancel orders due to product unavailability

  • Refuse orders suspected of fraudulent activity

  • Cancel orders containing inaccurate pricing, payment, or customer information

Any approved cancellation by Avartan will be refunded to the original payment method.

Payments

Orders must be prepaid using available payment methods at checkout.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • UPI

  • Credit Cards

  • Debit Cards

  • Net Banking

  • Other approved payment methods

Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders within India are typically delivered within 15–21 days from order confirmation.

International orders may require up to 21 days for production and dispatch before shipment.

Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only and may vary due to production schedules, customs procedures, courier delays, public holidays, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

All Avartan orders are considered final sale.

We currently do not offer:

  • Returns

  • Refunds

  • Exchanges

  • Cash on Delivery (COD)

Customers are encouraged to review product descriptions, measurements, specifications, and care instructions carefully before placing an order.

Damaged or Defective Products

If a product arrives damaged or defective, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Order number

  • Clear photographs of the issue

  • Description of the concern

Following review and approval, Avartan may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the product

  • Replace the product

  • Offer another appropriate resolution

Product Characteristics

Variations in colour, texture, weave, embroidery, print placement, reclaimed materials, recycled fibres, or handcrafted finishes are natural characteristics of the product and shall not be considered defects.

Intellectual Property

All website content including but not limited to:

  • Product designs

  • Artwork

  • Illustrations

  • Graphics

  • Photography

  • Text

  • Logos

  • Branding elements

remains the exclusive property of Avartan and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used commercially without prior written permission.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt unauthorised access to website systems

  • Interfere with website functionality

  • Submit false or misleading information

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avartan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.
